Inspired by Shaker architecture, this home embraces the ethos of simplicity, symmetry, serenity, and utility.

An integral aspect of FF&P’s design ethos is the indoor/outdoor connection and the notion that our buildings are part of their landscape. The simple form and dark color of this home allow it to recede into the landscape.
Incorporating the ethos of history and memory, we designed a formal living room that was reminiscent of the owners boyhood memories from a previous home belonging to a grandparent.
The home also includes a dining hall, kitchen with a larger pantry, ample outdoor space, two guest suites, and a traditional garage that fit three cars and a sculptural carport at the guest house that fit two cars.
